Dec 5, 2016 — In his more than 20 years as journalist, Dean Yates has covered some of the world’s biggest stories for the international news agency, Reuters.

From the Bali nightclub bombings in 2002, to the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, to three stints in Iraq and a posting to Baghdad as the bureau chief in 2007.

Dean Yates went on to oversee the coverage of the top stories across Asia each day for Reuters in 2010, looking after some 600 staff across the region.
